We had an excellent event today, I'd like to take a moment as "auction chairperson" and thank everyone.

Thank you to all of the volunteers who busted their wrasses today ! (especially the few who were not fish people, but rather were friends or spouses of fish-people).

Thank you to all of the people who traveled from out of state today in not-so-perfect  weather, including members of our "sister" clubs, the Tropical Fish Society of Rhode Island, the Pioneer Valley Aquarium Society (almost out-of-state) and the New Hampshire Aquarium Society.

Thank you to Jim for a great job as Auctioneer (and for taking my convict joke the way it was intended).

Thank you to all of the attendees who put up with all of the teething troubles that can when an event is held at a new location !

Thank you to all of the people who brought things to sell !

Thank you to all of the people who showed up to buy !

Thank you to all of the people who showed up at their first auction because the guy at the "fish store" wouldn't shut up about it

Thank you to Skiptons Pet Center for their very well appreciated donation (we raffled off a 56 gallon Marineland "column" tank with powercompact lighting today thanks to Skiptons)

Thank you to all of the stores who were gracious enough to post our signs or postcards in their store.

Thank you to Uncle Ned for letting me prattle on about the auction on his website

Thank you to the fine folks at the Smith Leadership Academy for hosting our event today.

And finally - thank you to the great ladies who served up some excellent food today !

And a BIG thank you to Rich for working his wrasse off! We had a whole computer network set up for the day. Super fast checkout plus on-demand status updates throughout the day.

Love the new venue too! Food was a little inconvenient but out hosts were GREAT!

I did plenty of that, even though I couldn't make it.
