Hi all,

I need some ideas on what would be the ideal fish choice for this set-up. For house structural reasons, I have to breakdown my 75g and am planning on setting it up on the floor with only 6" of water, so about 20g of water. I want to do a single species tank, preferably one that will breed and work as a colony, but I don't really know what kind of fish would look best, since most of the viewing will be from above. I'm thinking a group of pygmy/dwarf croaking gouramis (Trichopsis pumilus) might be cool, with lots of emergent plants. Or I could just do multi's. Or perhaps some type of killie? Any ideas?

Thanks,
Ryan

Sounds like a great mudskipper setup!

Thanks- I thought about mudskippers, but would prefer something that I could breed. I'll talk to Rich about these next week (I missed his talk :(

I say mudskippers or newts. After Richard Revis' talk on Monday, you might want to make it into a dart frog vivarium. You can fit a whole lot of frogs in a 75!
