I had a pair in a 5.5gal with a few other tiny fish and a few weeks after the female disappeared, I noticed an adorable, slim, 3/4" long striped baby! I've taken out the other fish (a male feeder guppy, a 1/2" Monte sword fry, and a female Pseudomogil gertrudae) and gave him another female so here's hoping for a few more!

For those who are interested, I have the tank about 3/4 full of java moss (top-to-bottom in all but a large triangle by the filter) with a smattering of java fern and hornwort, covered with a moderate amount of duckweed on top, kept at around 80 degrees and 6.8-7 pH and with a few cherry shrimp and trumpet snails for clean-up. It's mostly bare-bottomed with two big rocks, a small piece of driftwood, and a coconut shell (which you can't see because of the java moss!). It's filtered with a very dirty Azoo nano filter and has an airstone at the opposite end, and I have a 65W Sunpaq CF light on that tank, and covering the 2.5gal next to it.

:-D
