Anyone ever keep these before? Know how to sex them?

These things are very... energetic. I was keeping them in a 10 gallon quarrantine tank on the ground (I got them at the annual auction). I went to net them today and one of the smaller ones jumped out of the quarrantine tank, and into my Ameca splendens tank!

The water was up to the rim of the tank in the 10 gallon. I would estimate that the rim is a little less than 2 feet off the ground. The top of the ameca splendens tank is 5 feet off the ground. Which means, the little bugger jumped 3 feet out of the water!!

I had to catch him out of the ameca splendens tank before the amecas shredded him.

I have had some of these for quite a while. Nobody ever bids on them in any auctions. They are very active fish and do better in a larger tank. The male has a gonopodium like other livebearers although it isn't as pronounced as in other livebearer species and its hard to see because of their constant movement. I find it easier to determine the females which have a fan shaped anal fin. They make an exciting tank. I watch them dart back and forth for hours.
