Anyone know about breeding them? I picked up a couple today at Skiptons.

Rich,

Nice to finaly meet you in person...............
I'm working all weekend and still dealing w/this flu thing but I am going to Wakefield(stored equipment) either tonight or tommorow.
#1-Will check on small tanks
#2-I have a huge collection of books, see if any info. on L-239

I would definetly offer the fish some greens-zuccini.For about 9 months,I kept and grew out 5 Zebra Pleco's L-46.Most information on those fish stated they are carniverous or at least mainly carniverous.
They were first put in a 15 gal. that sat near a window.Green algae covered every part of the tank.Within two days, the algae was gone.
I never saw them eat algae after that but they all loved zuccini. The fish were also fed meaty foods but they always came flying out of their hiding spots when zuccini was put in the tank(daily).

It was nice to meet you too Tom! I oofered both zuchinni and shrimp. The ate neither. I did just get them so I figure they need to settle in. I added 2 powerheads to the setup as well. I put them both at one end and created a pretty strong cross-current, so that should perk them up. I'll keep you posted. I am thinking of getting one or two more.
