I've been trying to find these rare tiny little guys ever since I saw one in a 1gal personal tank in the back of Skipton's
I've found a seller in Oregon who has them right now, and I would like to get enough to offset the cost of shipping.

They're brilliant tiny little guys, only about 3/4" full grown, they are perfect for nano freshwater tanks.
I'm putting them in a planted 6 gallon with Taiwan fire red shrimp.

Anyone interested in getting in on some of these?

Google them:
Mosquito Rasborra
boraras brigittae

We had some at Unique Aquaria (former Skipton's Pet) last month -- it's hit or miss with some wholesalers. Its a fish we try to keep in stock at all times, but unfortunately, some wholesalers (not Steve in Oregon) will offer multiple types of microrasbora but ship merah or 3spot micros no matter what we order :(

We've ordered from Steve in Oregon before - he runs a great company - and hopefully will again when the new store is ready for a big load of fish.
Speaking of which - the new store opens Sept 1st, and I'll be hopefully bringing in some of these for the grand opening or soon after (depending on whether I can find them for a good price wholesale AND we actually get what we order ! )

SO - I think I know who you're ordering from and I do like the owner, I've met him a few times. But if you can wait a bit we can probably get them locally :)

You may want to be careful with them and the Taiwan Fire red shrimp. They maybe too small to take on a shrimp but they may harrass them to death. Again depending on the fish you have. I love the chili rasboras color and definately want to add them to my CPD tank.

They've been good with the shrimp. I had 2 rasboras and several of the "Taiwain Fire" shrimp until the heat wave this summer.
I'd rather get 10-15 of them locally then get 25 or 50 for the same wholesale and then have to figure out what to do with them.
Plus it supports the LFS

Thanks for the input Rich - I know I've been in with my GF bugging you about them and other nano fish for the past year.
Sorry to see you guys have moved out of town - but does the Worchester location still sell fish?
I got the impression that the new business model was all service-based and that there wouldn't be a retail store.

Woburn still sells fish - basically, we're an online store and service business. Woburn is our showroom and warehouse.
M-F the showroom/warehouse are open by appointment only.
Sat and Sun we're open from 11 to 7 - the freshwater systems are still coming together, but we'll have approx a dozen small tanks (15g), a dozen med tanks (40g), 6 larger tanks (75g), plus a huge "table" area for live plants (so I can catch fish without uprooting all of our plants) - I think the live plants ended up with over 200 gallons.

Part of my goal is to make this a destination for truly Unique livestock, both online and in person.
I don't want to carry "petco" or "petsmart" fish - so by pruning out alot of the "common" or "boring" fish, we'll be able to carry more cool stuff than before.
I'm working hard on the micro rasboras - we've found that some of our vendors carry 3 or 4 skus of microrasboras but when we order 3 or 4 species we often end up with 3 bags of one species and 1of another - and neither end up being Boraras brigittae :(
Hopefully I'll be making a trip to personally pick an order on Monday the 24th, and true Boraras brigittae are at the top of my list.
