Hi everybody,
I think this month's program should be especially interesting. Rather than trying to explain it, I'll let our speaker, Andrew, do so:

Quote:
Hi, I?m Andrew Grad, President of DreamWater Aquariums.

When I was ten I was given a 5 gallon aquarium. I?d stare into it watching the fish swim --in circles. No matter how I decorated and planted the aquarium I felt that I was looking into a cage.

One day, I wondered, what if I had an aquarium where fish could swim long distances, like a hamster exploring a Habitrail?

About ten years ago I recalled that childhood idea and constructed an aquarium out of tubing. Years of prototyping, and hundreds of gallons of spilled water later, I chanced upon an aquarium design that, I believe, is much more entertaining than standard aquariums and healthier for many kinds of fish. That design mimics the natural water flow of rivers and streams and salt water reefs and coasts.

Please join me for what I hope will be an informative and entertaining talk.

As usual, the doors will be opening at 7:30pm, and we will have refreshments and an auction after Andrew's presentation.
Directions etc can be found at our homepage ( http://bostonaquariumsociety.org )
