I am being given a 125 gallon tank and stand (woo-hoo!) but I need to move it this coming weekend. I have recruited lifters but I will need to rent a vehicle. Does anyone have any opinions about pick up truck vs large van or SUV? The tank is 4' X 2' X 2' and the stand is 4' X 2' X 3' and I need to get them in one trip. Thanks.

Location: somerville near tufts
on a tank that size.. you could get away with a 12ft moving van or small cargo truck..

the lower to the ground the better..

I agree. A pickup at UHaul seems quite sensible. No matter what you use, I suggest removing the water from the tank during transit. :wink:
