The NEC has a Photo contest every year. The prizes are small cash prizes. Would any members be interested in entering photos? If so let me know and I will get your photos submitted.

If you are a club member you may bring your photos to the february meeting and I will take care of getting them entered for you. You may also email me the photos digitally and I will do my best printing them out for entry into the competition.

Photos for the NEC competition

who can enter - anyone attending the convention or any member of a sister club

what to enter - basically there are three categories the first two categories are divided into advanced and open

1. Individual Fish / Fish Identification ? Prints, Advanced Class

2. Individual Fish / Fish Identification ? Prints, Open Class

3. Underwater Life (Group or Tank Photos) ? Prints, Advanced Class

4. Underwater Life (Group or Tank Photos) ? Prints, Open Class

5. NEC Activities People Pictures ? Prints

advanced is for anybody who has won an aquarium related photo competition or who has been paid for an aquarium related photo

limits - three entrees per class - nine total

prizes - $20 for 1st place, $10 for 2nd place and $5 for third

If any member who is not attending the convention wishes to enter photos you may bring them to the March club meeting or email them to me at bindbej@earthlink.net and I will get them entered for you. If you win I will bring your prize to the April meeting.
