Fish bigger than sm tetras + cherry shrimp =


How about hatchetfish for the top of the tank ? They would "probably" leave shrimps alone down below for the most part.
Micro-rasboras are great - most will leave adult shrimp alone and only eat some of the babies. Ditto celestial pearl rasboras or scarlet badis
Harlies will eventually get big enough to snack some adults IMO
Bristlenose plecos are usually a save bet.
I've actually got swordtails and cherry shrimp breeding in the same tank, but its got a nice 3" deep layer of java moss across the whole bottom of the tank ...
And I'm not exactly getting thousands of cherry shrimp out of that tank, now that I think about it
